Our school is more than a daycare. Through purposeful play and nurturing guidance, we help lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. Right down the road from Chets Creek Elementary School and five minutes from J Allen Axson Montessori School, we are conveniently located on Hodges Blvd. Come by and see Balanced Learning® in action.

Ken and Susan Muller

Ken and Susan Muller relocated from Maryland to purchase the Primrose School of Julington Creek and the Primrose School at St. Johns Forest. The Muller’s have two children, Sean and Abigail, who attend the St. Johns Forest school. Ken, a Computer Specialist, and Susan, an Attorney, learned about Primrose Schools after researching the industry because they were unhappy with the childcare options for their children. The Muller’s recognize the importance of Early Childhood Care and Education and are committed to being your partner in your child’s development. The Muller’s are also actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the schools to best ensure that the schools are nurturing, happy and safe environments for all the children.

Ken and Susan Muller became learned about Primrose in 2003 as new parents looking for childcare. It was soon clear to them there was a broad range of environments available as well as a tremendous need for quality childcare. After learning about Primrose Schools, they were excited about the impact and difference the schools can make in children’s lives, decided to change their careers, move states, and become Franchise Owners. Thus, in 2007, they moved from Maryland to Florida, went from a Computer Specialist and an Attorney to Private Preschool Owners and Operators – and haven’t looked back. Ken and Susan owned and operated the Primrose School of Julington Creek and the Primrose School at St. Johns Forest from January 2007 through October 2016. Today, they own and operate the Primrose School of Glen Kernan (July 2012) and Primrose School on Crosswater Parkway (August 2017). Ken handles all the “behind the scenes” operations (IT, Accounting, Maintenance) while Susan handles “front of the house” between both schools as well as a number of administrative matters. Either are available at any time for questions or conference. The Mullers recognize the importance of early childhood care and education and are committed to providing the best care and foundation for children so they may thrive and be happy. They are also committed to a culture based upon trust and respect among everyone in the school (staff, children, families) and working as a team. The Mullers are committed to staff growth and satisfaction so that they may also thrive and be happy.
